We  first met at our local running group, the Turtles, on July 12th 2012.  Luckily Tina is a voracious photog who unknowingly captured the “boy meets girl”  moment for us.

It was love at first sniff – Brandi had some really nice perfume and consequently earned the nickname Cookies from the group as it smelled a bit like fresh baked cookies. A few runs together, an elbow touch and some flirting later and I asked her out for curry in Grandview. The rest is history and one of the reasons behind this website

Brandi is the baseball fanatic and I, having grown up in England, know nothing about the sport – so we are in the unique position of probably being the only couple where it is the girl who wants to get married on the baseball field. Yes, that’s right – we are getting married at Huntington Park in Columbus, home of the Clippers and not only are we getting married at the park, we are getting married on Home Plate – one of Brandi’s dreams.
